Narrative:

After landing on runway 11R at tus the tower controller instructed me to cross runway 11L. As I taxied into the runway I saw the landing lights of an incoming aircraft, apparently landing at runway 11L. As I was stopping, the tower controller instructed me to stop. At that time I was beyond the hold short line but clear of the runway. The controller did not advise me of the incoming traffic when I saw the aircraft on final approach I made the decision to stop. The controller prevented a major occurrence from happening. If the controller had been more aware of the situation, I would not have gone beyond the hold line.
