Narrative:

The following is not to be proud of, but it happened. After a mechanical delay, we were taxiing for takeoff. Everything was rather busy. We knew that the tower was going to get us right out. We were told to hold short of 35L on south side. Before we got to our place to stop we were told to go to position and hold 35L. However, another company aircraft was off our left moving at a high rate of speed, so I said I didn't think we could do that. We were told he was cleared for takeoff and again cleared onto the runway. I acknowledged. Unbeknown to me, my microphone was stuck, giving me a hot microphone, so everything I said from there on went out of the aircraft. After the other company aircraft had passed, a little commuter aircraft was moving behind him with his taxi lights on. Not only did it blind us, we did not know where he was going. What came out was not professional and other people with the other air carrier were offended. I would be also. I think the lesson to learn is that there is no place in our profession to use abusive language anywhere, even if you think that it's going to stay on the flight deck. As I found out, things break, and it's really easy to embarrass yourself.

Title: ACR MLG FLT CREW USED PROFANE LANGUAGE DISCUSSING A COMMUTER ACFT WHOSE LNDG LIGHTS WERE BLINDING THEM. PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY HAD A STUCK MICROPHONE AT THE TIME.

Narrative: THE FOLLOWING IS NOT TO BE PROUD OF, BUT IT HAPPENED. AFTER A MECHANICAL DELAY, WE WERE TAXIING FOR TKOF. EVERYTHING WAS RATHER BUSY. WE KNEW THAT THE TWR WAS GOING TO GET US RIGHT OUT. WE WERE TOLD TO HOLD SHORT OF 35L ON S SIDE. BEFORE WE GOT TO OUR PLACE TO STOP WE WERE TOLD TO GO TO POS AND HOLD 35L. HOWEVER, ANOTHER COMPANY ACFT WAS OFF OUR LEFT MOVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPD, SO I SAID I DIDN'T THINK WE COULD DO THAT. WE WERE TOLD HE WAS CLRED FOR TKOF AND AGAIN CLRED ONTO THE RWY. I ACKNOWLEDGED. UNBEKNOWN TO ME, MY MIC WAS STUCK, GIVING ME A HOT MIC, SO EVERYTHING I SAID FROM THERE ON WENT OUT OF THE ACFT. AFTER THE OTHER COMPANY ACFT HAD PASSED, A LITTLE COMMUTER ACFT WAS MOVING BEHIND HIM WITH HIS TAXI LIGHTS ON. NOT ONLY DID IT BLIND US, WE DID NOT KNOW WHERE HE WAS GOING. WHAT CAME OUT WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE OTHER ACR WERE OFFENDED. I WOULD BE ALSO. I THINK THE LESSON TO LEARN IS THAT THERE IS NO PLACE IN OUR PROFESSION TO USE ABUSIVE LANGUAGE ANYWHERE, EVEN IF YOU THINK THAT IT'S GOING TO STAY ON THE FLT DECK. AS I FOUND OUT, THINGS BREAK, AND IT'S REALLY EASY TO EMBARRASS YOURSELF.
