Narrative:
During the localizer 26 approach into cytz; while at 1;300 feet inbound on the approach; the aircraft detected a tower that was in close proximity; but was visually seen by the crew and deemed a non-factor. The approach was continued to a safe landing and no further action was required. If flying the approach accordingly; as we were; the terrain proximity warning would need to be disabled in order to avoid this advisory. If in IMC conditions; this could lead to a missed approach.
