Narrative:
Two aircraft involved. One aircraft landed and cleared a runway. He had to cross the runway of an aircraft ready to depart. He was instructed to do so. The aircraft waiting was cleared for takeoff. The pilot saw the crossing aircraft and aborted his takeoff just as controller was about to instruct him to cancel takeoff clearance.

Narrative: TWO ACFT INVOLVED. ONE ACFT LANDED AND CLRED A RWY. HE HAD TO CROSS THE RWY OF AN ACFT READY TO DEPART. HE WAS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO. THE ACFT WAITING WAS CLRED FOR TKOF. THE PLT SAW THE XING ACFT AND ABORTED HIS TKOF JUST AS CTLR WAS ABOUT TO INSTRUCT HIM TO CANCEL TKOF CLRNC.
