Narrative:

We pushed back from [our] gate. The left engine start was complete and during the start of the right engine; I heard line service say 'stop stop'. My head was down during that time verifying the load closeout and inserting the takeoff performance numbers in the mcdu. But when I heard line service say 'stop stop' I looked up and saw the aircraft was moving forward. The tow bar was still connected at that time. There was slight damage to the tow bar and the aircraft nose tire. We got towed back to the gate. Maintenance changed the nose tires and we proceeded with no further incident. I believe there may have been a miscommunication on whether the brakes was set or not during that time.eliminating heads down during movement on a busy ramp will bring more situational awareness of surrounding elements.
