Narrative:
Due to a planned relocation of the G/south antenna, the csg G/south for runway 5 was notamed OTS on mid-9/90 effective until 11/90. Over the past few days several pilots inquired about the lack of a G/south signal. Each time, I have checked and been assured by FSS that the NOTAM is still active. When I inquired as to whether other controllers were putting it on the ATIS, I was told by a supervisor that this was not necessary since aircraft on the ILS would be 'cleared for the ILS, G/south unusable.' I pointed out that multiple aircraft had made the inquiry while making visibility approachs and at lest 1 had inquired well before final, presumable while setting his navigation radios for the approach. I was finally granted the possibility that it wouldn't hurt to put it on the ATIS, but it really wasn't necessary. Still, tonight it was not put on the ATIS and a pilot inquired about it and said it was not on the NOTAM list provided by his company, a scheduled passenger commuter.
