Narrative:

At v1 our EICAS went blank. Messages began to appear on lower crt including: right electric hyd pump; auto throttle disc; left center fuel pump inop; fuel config. Additionally we lost EPR indications on left engine. It seemed to both of us to be an electrical problem possibly a bus off or gen off so we started apu. Ran electric hyd pump QRH. Ran EICAS loss QRH. Neither of these helped out. We were unable to determine the root of our problem so we elected to air return to [our departure airport]. After landing the stress of the event was still present and we decided not to continue with the pairing.
