Narrative:

I recently was required to work on a reconfigured boeing aircraft. (Particular aircraft number currently cannot remember however; I believe that there are quite a few of similar reconfiguration.) my concern is regarding the way in which two seats have been placed directly in line with the 2R door where there used to be a 1/2 galley with a closet. It is unclear how my company has been approved for such a change; as this has caused a definite safety risk should we need to use this door for evacuations.they have placed 2 economy plus seats directly in position where people will literally have to jump over the seats to be able to evacuate. As it is; a flight attendant has to reach over passengers to be able to now arm and disarm the door; whereas prior to this new configuration there was no issue. I believe that this one change to this type of aircraft we are flying will one day prove to be a major hazard to life-saving!could someone please look into the logistics of this issue? I understand from the company's standpoint; that this change has allowed them to increase revenue on flights using this type of plane however; I believe that the risks outweigh the supposed need for more revenue for 2 extra economy plus seats.
