Narrative:
I filed a VFR flight plan from hhr FSS. Hhr direct flw direct rom direct sjc direct nuq at 10000'. Upon departure I contacted la departure control, they told me to stand by; time went on and west/O further contact from la departure I knew I had to stay clear of la TCA so I started turning away from the TCA at which point I went into torrance's air traffic area, as I started turning around again I was able to get a response from another call to departure control. ATC assisted until I was clear of area, and I was able to resume my own navigation.

Title: LOW TIME GA PLT DEPARTING HHR INADVERTENTLY PENETRATES TOA ATA.
Narrative: I FILED A VFR FLT PLAN FROM HHR FSS. HHR DIRECT FLW DIRECT ROM DIRECT SJC DIRECT NUQ AT 10000'. UPON DEP I CONTACTED LA DEP CTL, THEY TOLD ME TO STAND BY; TIME WENT ON AND W/O FURTHER CONTACT FROM LA DEP I KNEW I HAD TO STAY CLR OF LA TCA SO I STARTED TURNING AWAY FROM THE TCA AT WHICH POINT I WENT INTO TORRANCE'S ATA, AS I STARTED TURNING AROUND AGAIN I WAS ABLE TO GET A RESPONSE FROM ANOTHER CALL TO DEP CTL. ATC ASSISTED UNTIL I WAS CLR OF AREA, AND I WAS ABLE TO RESUME MY OWN NAV.
