Narrative:
I taxied out of the cargo ramp and advised FSS of intentions to depart runway 15R and asked for current WX. He gave it to me and I guess I just was not listening. I did not hear that there was only 2 mi visibility. After I departed he advised me on what I had done--I had taken off in a control zone. I need to slow down and listen!
