Narrative:

During the approach phase of the flight; the captain was doing a visual approach to runway 18 into kmsn airport. ATC give us a bad vector towards the final approach course. The captain tried to fix it but on the descent the GPWS came on while on the visual approach. We performed the scape maneuver followed by a missed approach. Came back again and landed without any further issue. The lesson I learned is that if the approach is looking uncomfortable just tell the captain I do not feel comfortable and will like us to be re-vectored.
