Narrative:

Departing lax we contacted lax departure. They cleared us from 2000' MSL to 13000' MSL, left to heading 180 degree, do not exceed 250 KTS. Thinking the captain heard the clearance, I (PNF) acknowledged it. Later the captain said he did not catch the 250 KT restriction. About 20 mi out on lax 041 degree la center cleared us to 17000' MSL. Reaching 15000' MSL center told us to maintain 15000' MSL left turn to 010 degree. Another voice came on center told us to continue turn to 330 degree. All of which we did and told center we had the conflicting traffic 2 O'clock. Center asked if departure had given us a 250 KT restriction. The captain had increased to 310 KTS out of 10000' MSL. Thinking back I responded that I didn't think so but later remembered they had after takeoff. The traffic was not that close but would have been a problem if we had continued much longer on our previous course. Cause was I neglected to make sure captain received clearance and doing duties at crossing restrictions forgot to watch for 250 KT restriction. Supplemental information from acn 154694. I should have also been listening closer to departure control. First officer should have confirmed my understanding of the clearance as I did not repeat it as is standard procedure.

Narrative: DEPARTING LAX WE CONTACTED LAX DEP. THEY CLRED US FROM 2000' MSL TO 13000' MSL, L TO HDG 180 DEG, DO NOT EXCEED 250 KTS. THINKING THE CAPT HEARD THE CLRNC, I (PNF) ACKNOWLEDGED IT. LATER THE CAPT SAID HE DID NOT CATCH THE 250 KT RESTRICTION. ABOUT 20 MI OUT ON LAX 041 DEG LA CTR CLRED US TO 17000' MSL. REACHING 15000' MSL CTR TOLD US TO MAINTAIN 15000' MSL L TURN TO 010 DEG. ANOTHER VOICE CAME ON CTR TOLD US TO CONTINUE TURN TO 330 DEG. ALL OF WHICH WE DID AND TOLD CTR WE HAD THE CONFLICTING TFC 2 O'CLOCK. CTR ASKED IF DEP HAD GIVEN US A 250 KT RESTRICTION. THE CAPT HAD INCREASED TO 310 KTS OUT OF 10000' MSL. THINKING BACK I RESPONDED THAT I DIDN'T THINK SO BUT LATER REMEMBERED THEY HAD AFTER TKOF. THE TFC WAS NOT THAT CLOSE BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PROB IF WE HAD CONTINUED MUCH LONGER ON OUR PREVIOUS COURSE. CAUSE WAS I NEGLECTED TO MAKE SURE CAPT RECEIVED CLRNC AND DOING DUTIES AT XING RESTRICTIONS FORGOT TO WATCH FOR 250 KT RESTRICTION. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 154694. I SHOULD HAVE ALSO BEEN LISTENING CLOSER TO DEP CTL. F/O SHOULD HAVE CONFIRMED MY UNDERSTANDING OF THE CLRNC AS I DID NOT REPEAT IT AS IS STANDARD PROC.
