Narrative:

The EMB120 was parked with engines shut down on the ramp at ZZZ with crew awaiting a [ground] officer to allow them to exit the airplane. The ramp was busy with many other aircraft parked in multiple rows. A convair CV580 attempted to taxi out of the ramp area and squeeze between the E120 and a parked falcon 20. The EMB120 crew could hear the convair taxiing out behind them but could not see anything because there are no windows aft of the cockpit. There was not enough room and the convair's right wingtip lightly struck the EMB120's rudder. The convair crew backed the airplane up about ten feet away from the EMB120 and shut its engines down. Both crews eventually inspected the aircraft and no visual damage could be seen. Both aircraft were then towed to an FBO ramp and grounded until maintenance personnel could arrive and inspect them. Neither aircraft were deemed to have any damage.there are no marshallers available nor are the local FBO line crews allowed on the ramp to help marshal aircraft. This leaves it to pilots to maintain clearance from aircraft; vehicles; and objects while taxiing. Even after the collision and after the [ground] officer was notified; the crew of the EMB120 was not allowed to exit the airplane for about ten minutes. Pilots should keep this in mind and hopefully a safer system can exist when similar ramps become congested. At ZZZ this could include taxi markings and specific parking spots for aircraft as seen at other airports' ramps. The availability of marshallers could also mitigate collisions.
