Narrative:

Sectors were combined. Miles in-trail to denver was posted late. Some den landing traffic were in my airspace and a few more were just entering. Normally the sectors to the east begins the sequencing but since they were not aware that we had miles in trail; nothing had been started. I was trying to figure out the sequence and missed a traffic advisory. E190 at FL370 said they encountered wake turbulence and were going to deviate off course. The aircraft deviated 10 degrees off course and inquired what type had passed over them. It was a heavy B787-9. A couple of minutes later the E190 was back on course. Bottom line I missed the traffic advisory.recommendation: have traffic management units (tmu)/supervisors do their jobs and post tmu initiatives in a timely manner.
