Narrative:

Near top of descent our pressurization panel briefly went into the altitude mode then the auto fail light illuminated. We ran qrc and QRH for this event. Cabin altitude went to approximately 13;000 feet. All passenger O2 masks deployed. [ATC] was [advised]; fire trucks were waiting for us upon arrival. Emts were waiting for us in case of any injury; [gate agents] were called as well. Failures occur in every operation. Our training allowed us to work as a team to safely recover the aircraft.
