Narrative:
During pushback from the gate; it appeared that our left wing would impact the tail of the aircraft parked next to our gate. I directed the pushback crew to stop the push. I then directed that pushback crew reverse the direction of travel (forward to backward) to permit enough clearance to turnout without hitting the parked aircraft. I then contacted ramp control and operations and reported the incident.

Narrative: During pushback from the gate; it appeared that our left wing would impact the tail of the aircraft parked next to our gate. I directed the pushback crew to stop the push.
