Narrative:
During pushback off [gate X]; tug driver impacted our right winglet into horizontal stab of other aircraft parked on [gate Z] (appeared to be minimal damage).captain verbalized that we looked significantly right of taxi line during pushback. I could see that there was not an aircraft on [gate Y] but there was an aircraft on [gate Z]. Right wing walker was in correct position with wands up. The right wing walker then waved wands vigorously for driver to stop at which time I verbalized to captain something like 'whoa!' or 'stop.' tug driver came to a stop. Captain coordinated with tug driver and we eventually were tugged back into [gate Y] for maintenance to inspect.
