Narrative:
Our flight was cleared to enter the ramp; while at the same time; aircraft Y was cleared to gate (aircraft Y was right behind us at a very close proximity). As we were pulling in; we noticed that the wing walkers were present; however; the lead marshaler was not present; so the aircraft stopped short of the zipper road and the captain proceeded to set the brake; and within seconds; we felt a jolt from the aircraft (aircraft Y hit our horizontal stabilizer with right winglet). The captain made an announcement to the passengers to remain seated; with their seatbelts fastened; until further advised. Few minutes after; we were given clearance to taxi into the gate area from the ramp crew after a visual inspection. The captain made a follow up announcement to reassure the passengers after checking with the forward flight attendant. The captain and I made sure everyone deplaned safely. There were no complaints or injuries.
