Narrative:
On takeoff out of bhm on runway 6; after gear retraction; we received a GPWS caution terrain aural warning. I increased the pitch angle to comply with the potential CFIT maneuver. Once the caution went away; we returned to the normal profile and performed the rest of the after takeoff procedure.there is terrain at the end of runway 6 and there are no notes in the 10-7 pages about this. This was thankfully in VMC but this issue needs to be addressed.
