Narrative:
During level flight departure at 1;000 MSL (heading 240); I momentarily climbed into the outer ring shelf of the dab class-C airspace to avoid nearby traffic on collision course; opposite direction that suddenly popped up in my aircraft ads-B. A cardinal had just called in lining up to my left and the inner ring of the dab class-C airspace was close by to my right; so I momentarily climbed to 1;550 MSL while turning to heading of 270 to clear the traffic; and then quickly descended below the 1200 feet shelf of the dab class-C outer ring.at the time I was not in communications with daytona approach and did not have enough time to call them and ask for clearance into the dab class-C airspace.
