Narrative:
[My] approach [to] jax runway 32 was left high; close to airport. Was cleared for visual approach. Overshot runway; while turning back toward runway did get a bank angle [warning]. Noticed I was too high and fast; not configured; decided to level off about 1000 ft. Asked first officer to ask for a 360 to give me room and time to get stabilized and at proper altitude for approach. While doing the turn either hit wake or gust and got another bank angle [warning]. Rolled out on final still at 1000 feet; configured and continued on a stable approach. Continued to land; no other problems. Should have flown plane farther out before turning in on final.
