Narrative:

Controller advised me to make straight in runway 22 and report 3 mi final. Controller did not advise large transport traffic on final runway 32. I reported traffic to controller who refused to describe type of traffic, destination, etc. The PIC broke off the approach to runway 22 as a conflict at the runway intersection was imminent. The controller contributed to this incident by not advising us of traffic landing on an intersecting runway and refusing to give specific information about traffic after we requested it. I think this controller demonstrated a lazy attitude toward traffic sep and should be removed from position.
