Narrative:

I proceeded to start setting up the approach to runway 26 at ril. We were then assigned a vector to capture the final approach course and the PF said he would take the radios while I tuned in AWOS for the weather conditions and set up for landing. Once I tuned back the PF asked me to set the initial crossing altitude for the approach and I did. He indicated we were cleared for the approach and as we crossed that point he asked to set the next altitude and I did. As I completed the setup and briefed the approach ATC replied that we were to cross jigom at 13;000 feet. We were almost to that point and below the altitude so we immediately climbed and ATC advised we could continue our descent so we did. We were well above the minimum altitudes for the approach. We then landed.
