Narrative:

I was doing traffic pattern work at ZZZ. After completing the flare portion of my fifth consecutive landing on runway xxr; the aircraft was pushed to the left of the centerline by a gust of wind. During that push; the aircraft also passed over a visible wet spot on the left side of runway xxr; causing the aircraft to go farther to the left of the centerline. I applied ailerons and brakes to adjust accordingly and safely. However; the plane came to a stop approximately 10 feet into the grassy edge of runway xxr. Given the wet soil; I shut the plane down; contacted the tower and asked for a tug back to the FBO. I exited the plane; inspected the aircraft and noted the tarmac conditions. Upon return to the FBO; I met with the facility's CFI and I reviewed what had transpired during the landing. Additionally; we both inspected the plane and did not find any visible damage. Lastly; I contacted tower to confirm that all parties were safe. I also informed them there was a wet spot on xxr near the incident.
