Narrative:
Noticed static over intercom that was unusual during whole flight. When weather at original fuel stop was not conducive to operation; we diverted to ZZZ. In descent; noise went away. Left gen amps went to 0; right gen fail CAWS light illuminated. We ran QRH; paused after reset of generators was unsuccessful; configured aircraft for landing and then completed QRH dual generator check. This resulted in flying an approach to ZZZ1 in VMC conditions to a patchy snow covered runway with only our standby instruments and no antiskid. Landed without incident.
