Narrative:

As the pilot monitoring; I overlooked the note on the SID departure page to 'maintain 250 knots until notified by ATC.' on the ipad; I expanded and focused on the center of the departure page and completely overlooked the note which was inconveniently located in the upper right hand corner of the page. Suggest that significant notes; that are contrary to normal ATC procedures; are centered on the page; are bold; or; are in red. Consequently; the need to maintain 250 knots above 10;000 feet until notified by ATC was not briefed by the pilot flying; and overlooked by me. During climb phase at 11;000 feet ATC notified us to 'resume normal speed.'
