Narrative:

While taxiing to deice pad we had to apply heavy brakes to avoid a white pickup truck and a city-type bus cutting in front of us. Was stopped with taxi light off; could see truck and bus waiting. Received clearance to the deice pad; turned on light and resumed taxi.after we began moving truck started to go; then stopped. We continued rolling and started a left turn onto [the] taxiway when the truck then proceeded at a rapid pace across our path.our speed was between 5 - 8 knots when I got on the brakes. As we came to a stop the bus then followed the truck in front of us. I pressed harder on the brakes and the aircraft stopped quickly and firmly. We stayed put until we were able to check in with the flight attendants.flight attendant a sustained a scrape to one knee; flight attendant B reported a slight blow to one shoulder; and flight attendant C a slight knock on one wrist. All fas reported fully able and willing to continue the trip. I later conferred with lead flight attendant; and he stated that all fas there were no issues with continuing with the flight. I also spoke with [another] flight attendant and she assured me she was fine and was having no ill effects from the incident.I repeatedly asked throughout the flight if everyone was okay and each time was told yes. All were obviously shaken due to the suddenness of the event; but as the flight wore on the effects seemed to dissipate. All fas were gone by the time we left the flight deck [at the destination airport].
