Narrative:

Aircraft was dispatched with multiple mels (MEL'd APU generator; cabin entertainment at seat 7B and left center fuel pump inoperative) and aircraft arrived with an open maintenance write-up that ZZZ maintenance handled prior to departure and issued a new maintenance release for our departure. Left center fuel pump MEL was written up and deferred at departure airport prior to inbound flight departure to ZZZ; before our flight. Once new maintenance release printed; first officer and myself jointly reviewed the left center fuel pump MEL (along with other mels). It is quite a lengthy procedure and the maintenance release out of order (page 1 then page 7; page 4; etc.). That made it extremely difficult and confusing to follow. Per the MEL for left center fuel pump; we confirmed that on P6 panel for left fuel ovrd pump was pulled and safe-tied (P6 F 14). It was difficult to see F14 and F20 due to position being behind the observer panel. During flight while monitoring I noticed that right center fuel pump press light was illuminated and fuel in center tank was not being used. I reviewed the MEL; QRH once again and contacted dispatch/ maintenance control. During discussion with maintenance control; it appeared that the right fuel ovrd pump circuit breaker (circuit breaker) was tripped (P6 F20) along with P6 F14. Being a tripped fuel circuit breaker; we did not reset in flight. Decision was made to divert and have maintenance personnel assess and fix the right center fuel pump issue and also due to center tank fuel being inaccessible and remaining fuel in wing tanks not sufficient for endurance plus needed reserves needed for continuation to the destination. Remainder of flight to the diversion airport continued uneventfully.
