ACARS bleeds through on active radio frequency. This causes the flight crew to have to ask ATC to repeat clearances. This is a major safety issue. Company and airbus have known about this for well over a year and have done nothing about it. My next complaint goes to occupational safety and health administration (osha); as this most certainly is an occupational safety issue.maybe everybody could stop doing reports for one another and actually get something done? Director of safety might step up to the plate and earn his paycheck? Company needs to fix this. My license is on the line every time I miss a call or a clearance due to this equipment malfunction. Federal law requires that I am afforded a safe work environment and the lack of action on airline's behalf assures that I will not have one under its current management. This a slap in the face because it says 'we don't care.'
