Narrative:

Taxiing at night at tulsa international to runway 35 via taxiway zulu. We pulled up to runway line on taxiway zulu and held short for runup. After runup we were cleared to position and hold runway 35. I started to pull onto runway and stopped with nose on runway when I noticed another light training aircraft coming down runway (small aircraft Y). Pilot of small aircraft Y pulled up to go around at same time I stopped. I believe controller thought we were at another runway intersection when he cleared us onto runway. Contributing factors were probably night conditions.
