Narrative:

I used awi (alcohol/water injection) system in takeoff roll in boise. #2 engine made torque and then fell off as if awi system failed. I then aborted takeoff and returned to gate and wrote up awi system. #2 engine lost torque. Later I was informed the srl computer had been written up inoperative and is required for wet awi takeoff option. The write up I read was '#2 engine went to 760 degree with no fuel modulation on start.' I did not gather the srl was inoperative from that write up and used the system.
