Narrative:

On the descent into iah; we were originally assigned ZEEKK2 arrival and runway 26R; on frequency change we were assigned the DOOBI2 arrival runway 27. On the next frequency change; we were then assigned back to direct aex. ZEEKK2 arrival. When checking in with approach they stated that we were on the wrong runway transition for 26L. The controller issued a heading for the new runway 26L. Landed; no further incident.we discussed the incident upon shutdown; neither of us recall a runway change on the last change to the arrival.it did not help; with multiple changes in a high workload environment.
