Narrative:
Gear selected down at FAF; no audible gear motor sounds; and only received down indication on main landing gear after 10 seconds. No positive down indication for nose gear (still illuminated red). We elected to go around; achieve safe altitude; and troubleshoot issue. Transfer of controls initiated; and we completed the landing gear emergency extension checklist. After pumping 5 times; a positive indication was received for nose gear as well. Due to uncertainty of gear integrity; we notified ATC and diverted to a different runway due to longer runway/better services.
Original NASA ASRS Text
