Narrative:
Inadvertent crossing of runway 7-25 when told to hold short. Taxied from west ramp to taxiway hotel (H) on my way to runway 22, the active runway. As I approached runway 7-25 I did not see any hold short yellow 2 bar markings or a red sign to the side indicating a runway. I was on the yellow taxiway line when I realized that the yellow line was ending indicating that I had taxied on to a runway. Ground control did not catch this until some time later about one min after I had cleared runway 7-25 and turned down taxiway delta (D) approaching runway 28-10. I still do not recall seeing any markings for a runway. So many times I have taxied to runways and the paint is so worn that it is nearly impossible to identify a hold short line. If it was not for the red and white runway sign on the side of the taxiway identing the hold line. Subconsciously I suppose I look for the sign for a visibility clue and overlooked the double bar line.

Title: PLT OF TWIN JET CARGOLINER TAXIING CROSSED RWY WITHOUT AUTH.
Narrative: INADVERTENT XING OF RWY 7-25 WHEN TOLD TO HOLD SHORT. TAXIED FROM W RAMP TO TXWY HOTEL (H) ON MY WAY TO RWY 22, THE ACTIVE RWY. AS I APCHED RWY 7-25 I DID NOT SEE ANY HOLD SHORT YELLOW 2 BAR MARKINGS OR A RED SIGN TO THE SIDE INDICATING A RWY. I WAS ON THE YELLOW TXWY LINE WHEN I REALIZED THAT THE YELLOW LINE WAS ENDING INDICATING THAT I HAD TAXIED ON TO A RWY. GND CTL DID NOT CATCH THIS UNTIL SOME TIME LATER ABOUT ONE MIN AFTER I HAD CLRED RWY 7-25 AND TURNED DOWN TXWY DELTA (D) APCHING RWY 28-10. I STILL DO NOT RECALL SEEING ANY MARKINGS FOR A RWY. SO MANY TIMES I HAVE TAXIED TO RWYS AND THE PAINT IS SO WORN THAT IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO IDENT A HOLD SHORT LINE. IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE RED AND WHITE RWY SIGN ON THE SIDE OF THE TXWY IDENTING THE HOLD LINE. SUBCONSCIOUSLY I SUPPOSE I LOOK FOR THE SIGN FOR A VIS CLUE AND OVERLOOKED THE DOUBLE BAR LINE.
