Narrative:

As takeoff roll was started from boston logan airport runway 22R and aircraft started to pressurize, a loud noise of air escaping was heard from the left cockpit window. Takeoff was aborted. Speed was 60-70 KTS. After stopping, it was observed that yellow index marks indicating window is shut and locked were aligned but rear edge of window was open about 1/4'. Opened and closed window and taxied back for normal takeoff.

Title: TKOF ABORTED AS FLT CREW WAS AWARE OF CAPT'S SLIDING WINDOW NOT BEING FULLY CLOSED.

Narrative: AS TKOF ROLL WAS STARTED FROM BOSTON LOGAN ARPT RWY 22R AND ACFT STARTED TO PRESSURIZE, A LOUD NOISE OF AIR ESCAPING WAS HEARD FROM THE L COCKPIT WINDOW. TKOF WAS ABORTED. SPD WAS 60-70 KTS. AFTER STOPPING, IT WAS OBSERVED THAT YELLOW INDEX MARKS INDICATING WINDOW IS SHUT AND LOCKED WERE ALIGNED BUT REAR EDGE OF WINDOW WAS OPEN ABOUT 1/4'. OPENED AND CLOSED WINDOW AND TAXIED BACK FOR NORMAL TKOF.
