Narrative:
Cruise phase of flight. 45;000 feet experienced clear air turbulence. Aircraft began to pitch and roll uncontrollably. Airspeed fluctuations +/- 10-20 knots. Loss of altitude was approximately 800 feet. Regained positive control of aircraft after reaching 44;200 feet. No passengers were on board; no damage to aircraft was done. ATC was immediately notified of occurrence and was issued a descent to 41;000 feet. Incident lasted approximately 15 seconds.
