Narrative:
We had a valid takeoff weight before takeoff. 19 minutes after takeoff we received a new weight manifest which put our weight 2000# less than our takeoff weight. This would have been a huge safety issue if the weight error had been 2000# heavier!

Title: A Boeing 737 Captain and a Dispatcher reported that it was discovered after takeoff that the weight manifest included 2000 pounds of cargo that was not loaded.
Narrative: We had a valid takeoff weight before takeoff. 19 minutes after takeoff we received a new weight manifest which put our weight 2000# less than our takeoff weight. This would have been a huge safety issue if the weight error had been 2000# heavier!
