Narrative:

During takeoff at bdl we received a right engine oil strainer clogging light, just after setting takeoff power. Shortly after assessing the situation we aborted the takeoff and exited the runway at the first taxiway intersection. We approximated the abort speed to be about 30 KTS. We advised bdl tower we aborted the takeoff and that we needed to check out the problem. We advised tower we wanted to run the engines up to power. They cleared us to the 24 runup pad. We checked the engine power and all functions were normal and no oil strainer clogging light came on. Since all the parameters of the engines indicated normal operation with no accompanying caution lights, we elected to takeoff. During second takeoff we received no problems and parameters still remained normal. Entered the occurrence into the maintenance log book.

Title: MLG FLT CREW GETS ALERT FROM EICAS SYSTEM AND ABORTS TKOF AT 30 KTS.

Narrative: DURING TKOF AT BDL WE RECEIVED A RIGHT ENG OIL STRAINER CLOGGING LIGHT, JUST AFTER SETTING TKOF PWR. SHORTLY AFTER ASSESSING THE SITUATION WE ABORTED THE TKOF AND EXITED THE RWY AT THE FIRST TXWY INTXN. WE APPROXIMATED THE ABORT SPD TO BE ABOUT 30 KTS. WE ADVISED BDL TWR WE ABORTED THE TKOF AND THAT WE NEEDED TO CHK OUT THE PROB. WE ADVISED TWR WE WANTED TO RUN THE ENGS UP TO PWR. THEY CLRED US TO THE 24 RUNUP PAD. WE CHKED THE ENG PWR AND ALL FUNCTIONS WERE NORMAL AND NO OIL STRAINER CLOGGING LIGHT CAME ON. SINCE ALL THE PARAMETERS OF THE ENGS INDICATED NORMAL OPERATION WITH NO ACCOMPANYING CAUTION LIGHTS, WE ELECTED TO TKOF. DURING SECOND TKOF WE RECEIVED NO PROBS AND PARAMETERS STILL REMAINED NORMAL. ENTERED THE OCCURRENCE INTO THE MAINT LOG BOOK.
