Narrative:

I departed wrong runway. I was told by controller to 'taxi to runway 23R.' I taxied down lima taxiway. As I passed tango and with no call from me, the controller said, 'cleared for takeoff.' I made the assumption the runway I was approaching was runway 23R and made the turn on the roll and departed. As I climbed out, I was informed by the controller that I had just departed runway 28. I believe that a combination of controllers timing on when to clear me for takeoff, poor runway identify, as well as human factors of my own being early am. I take full responsibility for the actions but feel some of these other factors contributed. Also, major construction on the airport added to confusion.
