Narrative:

While taxiing in for parking, the electric hydraulic pump failed. When the hydraulic pump failed, the main pressure went to zero and the nose wheel steering and wheel brakes would not work. The aircraft had been slowed for parking and the #1 engine had been feathered in preparation for shutdown on parking. The hydraulic pump failed just after #1 engine had been feathered. The aircraft was slow and started turning to the left when the hydraulic pump failed and nose wheel steering and brakes would not work. The hydraulic pump switch was put in override position but still did not operate. The aircraft was turning toward a construction area and could not be stopped. It appeared that the propellers could possibly hit some construction. The engines were cut and the aircraft nose wheel came to rest against a concrete 'T' wall. There were 28 passengers on board; they were off loaded with a bus as normal. There were no injuries or aircraft damage.

Title: BRAKES AND NOSE WHEEL STEERING LOST AS LTT IS BEING PARKED.

Narrative: WHILE TAXIING IN FOR PARKING, THE ELECTRIC HYD PUMP FAILED. WHEN THE HYD PUMP FAILED, THE MAIN PRESSURE WENT TO ZERO AND THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING AND WHEEL BRAKES WOULD NOT WORK. THE ACFT HAD BEEN SLOWED FOR PARKING AND THE #1 ENG HAD BEEN FEATHERED IN PREPARATION FOR SHUTDOWN ON PARKING. THE HYD PUMP FAILED JUST AFTER #1 ENG HAD BEEN FEATHERED. THE ACFT WAS SLOW AND STARTED TURNING TO THE L WHEN THE HYD PUMP FAILED AND NOSE WHEEL STEERING AND BRAKES WOULD NOT WORK. THE HYD PUMP SWITCH WAS PUT IN OVERRIDE POS BUT STILL DID NOT OPERATE. THE ACFT WAS TURNING TOWARD A CONSTRUCTION AREA AND COULD NOT BE STOPPED. IT APPEARED THAT THE PROPS COULD POSSIBLY HIT SOME CONSTRUCTION.
