Narrative:
Oil temperature gauge indicated severe increase in oil temperature. Engine began to seize. Forced landing was made on marfa/alpine highway. No injuries. No damage to property. Apparently internal engine failure, as rod blew a large hold in engine top. Despite sudden loss of oil, there were still 8 qts in engine after stopping.
