Narrative:

I was assigned a flight from cle to cgx. This airport is a special authority/authorized airport under our operations specifications. As per far 121.445 and our flight operations manual, I am qualified to fly the assigned trip provided I or my first officer has been there in the preceding 12 months. After flying the trip, it was brought to my attention that an agreement had been made with the FAA that prior to operating into cgx, each captain had to be line-checked along this route. I feel that if such a rule exists, that it be incorporated into our operations specifications of fom (flight operating manual) so that we know it is regulatory in nature.
