Narrative:
There have been concerns of runners/vendors and other vehicles positioning/waiting for [aircraft to arrive]; and self-park at [adjacent gate] not picking up the threats (they had a fault issue on it yesterday). Granted; they shouldn't be waiting in the [safety zone]. However; I believe this does highlight a threat if a wing walker is not present and the flight crew park the aircraft using self-park as per their SOP. Multiple [safety reports] have been filed on this matter to no avail.
