Narrative:
Damage incurred to left wingtip/scimitar; occurred during towing operations to the west satellite parking area. As the operator approached the lead in line; the wingtip made contact with the mobile stairs that were staged rampside. The marshaller attempted to halt progress of the tow; but the tractor operator did not observe the stop signal in a timely manner to avoid any damage to the aircraft.

Narrative: Damage incurred to left wingtip/scimitar; occurred during towing operations to the west satellite parking area.
