Narrative:

On the above date and time we were being vectored for the above approach. We planned to shoot a PIC monitored approach to the stated runway. The autoplt did not capture so we had to miss the approach. On missing we went above the missed approach altitude and approach allowed us to fly at that altitude. We dropped 300' below our assigned altitude. Approach asked us if we had a problem other than the autoplt and we said no, we had things back under control. I took control of the aircraft and shot the approach and landed. We had been flying all night long from las to lga with a fuel stop at gri. We had mistakenly set the wrong course in the coplts navigation. I was a new captain on the aircraft with about 75 hours in the aircraft. In the future I will take control of the aircraft before it progresses to the stated level. Before the OM we will cross-check both navigation's and continue to do so throughout the approach. Wish I could do something about the fatigue but that was the nature of the flight. It was about an 11 hour day, but unfortunately it was all night long.

Title: A FATIGUED FLT CREW MANAGES TO MESS UP THE FIRST ILS APCH AND HAS ALT DEVIATIONS DURING THE MISSED APCH.

Narrative: ON THE ABOVE DATE AND TIME WE WERE BEING VECTORED FOR THE ABOVE APCH. WE PLANNED TO SHOOT A PIC MONITORED APCH TO THE STATED RWY. THE AUTOPLT DID NOT CAPTURE SO WE HAD TO MISS THE APCH. ON MISSING WE WENT ABOVE THE MISSED APCH ALT AND APCH ALLOWED US TO FLY AT THAT ALT. WE DROPPED 300' BELOW OUR ASSIGNED ALT. APCH ASKED US IF WE HAD A PROB OTHER THAN THE AUTOPLT AND WE SAID NO, WE HAD THINGS BACK UNDER CONTROL. I TOOK CONTROL OF THE ACFT AND SHOT THE APCH AND LANDED. WE HAD BEEN FLYING ALL NIGHT LONG FROM LAS TO LGA WITH A FUEL STOP AT GRI. WE HAD MISTAKENLY SET THE WRONG COURSE IN THE COPLTS NAV. I WAS A NEW CAPT ON THE ACFT WITH ABOUT 75 HRS IN THE ACFT. IN THE FUTURE I WILL TAKE CONTROL OF THE ACFT BEFORE IT PROGRESSES TO THE STATED LEVEL. BEFORE THE OM WE WILL CROSS-CHK BOTH NAV'S AND CONTINUE TO DO SO THROUGHOUT THE APCH. WISH I COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE FATIGUE BUT THAT WAS THE NATURE OF THE FLT. IT WAS ABOUT AN 11 HR DAY, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS ALL NIGHT LONG.
