Narrative:

We were cleared to taxi; clearance was taxiway X; X1; hold short of runway xx. Aircraft Y was approaching and was told to give way to us; aircraft X. Aircraft Y did not stop even though we turned on our landing lights to get his attention. We had to step on our brakes to prevent our nose from getting in the path of aircraft Y's right wing tip. Aircraft Y apologized to the ground controller and continued his taxi.
