Narrative:

I was the captain; check airman (non flying pilot) in right seat. Did oe training with another type rated captain that was the flying pilot.during takeoff after V1; the flying pilot removed his hands from throttles and waited for me to call vr and at that time he started to rotate by pulling back on yoke and shortly thereafter he decided to abort the take off. I never heard him announce 'abort' and during the abort we ran out of runway and airplane came to a stop approximately 1000 feet past the end of the runway. Evacuation was announced and all passengers and crew evacuated the airplane.weather conditions were VMC; gusty winds; visibility 10+ miles; clear skies. We never received a windshear warning during take off roll and airspeed did not fluctuate before or after V1.
