Narrative:

Climbing through 23000', we got the right engine fire indications. We went through the emergency procedure, shutting down the engine and firing both bottles but the lights never went out. I declared an emergency, returned to miami and landed west/O incident. Emergency equipment determined no fire in right engine so I taxied to gate and deplaned passengers. I really appreciate the outstanding training that I received in this large transport aircraft. It made a potentially dangerous situation have a quick and easy happy ending.
