Narrative:

I was flying a scheduled passenger flight from iah to fll with an intermediate stop in west palm beach. During climb out, ATC advised light to moderate turbulence at FL330 and that FL290 was smoother. We stayed at FL290. Flight conditions remained smooth at FL290 until 80 NM east of leeville where we encountered moderate turbulence. This clear air turbulence lasted only two mins and flight conditions were smooth for remainder of flight. We had received no reports of turbulence at FL290 from other aircraft. F/a's reported that during the turbulence hot water from bar cart spilled on a passenger in seat 24D. Passenger stated he wanted medical attention upon arrival at fll.
