Narrative:

On takeoff from the hospital, my RMI was exactly 180 degrees out of phase. I flew approximately 5 mins in a southeast direction (my RMI read northwest direction). I noticed the arrow and performed a right turn 180 degrees, realigned my RMI, oriented myself and continued my flight to abc. I don't believe I penetrated the XXX TCA 10.5 NM ring due to my low altitude; however, I think I may have entered the ZZZ air traffic area west/O first contacting them. I reestablished positive location at the ZZZ VOR 345 degree right at 5.9 NM.
